Nijiel Bale, the first (as in greatest/most powerful) of the Ganian Grand Inquisitors. I'm very pleased with the outcome (more with this one than the one of Nhornia Inael), but that may be because this is my first attempt at drawing Nijiel. And yes, that's the hilt of his sword behind his left shoulder. YES, that sword is MASSIVE.

EDIT: The design on the armor is now OUTDATED. Gania is a cold place, so I am redrawing the armor to something a bit more suited to cold places than the silk/cloth-look. This piece will be SCRAPPED when I upload a new drawing.

Ooooh, vereh nice. Detailed shading on the armour and sword, and the hair looks very fluid as well.

Don't mess, I'm guessing.

True. He's usually patient, but if you...
A) Waste his time on purpose
B) Utter a word that may go against the law
C) Even HINT at being against the Grandlord Cypher
... your skeleton would be fragmented before you knew what hit you.

Nice work ,,,
I liked the way you have drawn the hair, and your attention to detail ,,,
The shading is perfect in every aspect, from his face, to his armour
Keep it up !....

Thanks!

I wish I could draw cloth that good.

I would very much like to see him posing holding that sword.

My only consistent quality is my inconsistency.
:iconnostalgium:
I'm planning to draw that, but chances are that the sword wouldn't fit into a regular A4... If I don't do something funky with the pose, that is.

Perhaps if he has a crouching stance with the hilt close to the ground. That could place the sword between the left lower corner to the right upper corner of the paper. That should be enough space for the sword especialy if it points abit forward.

Something like that was my plan, but it would make him look to "feral" for his character, I think...

I think I might've found a solution to the posing problem. Lining out a few roughs, at the moment, so a full-size drawing might not be too far away.
